Clifford Boobyer, Managing / Creative Director
Founding partner Cliff is Firedog’s Managing and Creative Director (read: guru). He’s the
rare creative sort who’s able to fully fuse a great creative idea
with the business objective at hand. He’s most comfortable commanding
his hand-picked design team and it really doesn’t matter if it’s
a 120 page website, an advertising campaign or a brand identity
that’s needed. With a career spanning 14 years, Cliff has been
responsible for re-branding multi-nationals and just about everything
else that can possibly be placed under the creative remit.
The Team
Firedog consists of a highly-adept team of five full-time designers, each with their own unique skill set. The minimum requirement for our designers is a Graphic Design Degree from a universally recognised Art School or College as well as at least 5 years experience in design-for-print and branding/digital design.
Firedog's studio is then supported by a dedicated Account Director and an Account Management team consisting of 3 full-time staff.
Our digital capabilities are further boosted by our Digital Manager and a user-interface (UI) Designer/Developer, whilst Firedog's Studio Manager ensures that the logic and magic components of the business are always working towards a common goal. (As well as making sure caffeine levels are kept to an optimum...)
Our 'boutique' positioning allows us to maintain a team of highly-experienced full-time staff but also allows us to freely collaborate with specialist teams to deliver beyond our client's expectations but within the prescribed budget. These resources are then transparently included as a cost to the overall project.
