Who is the client?
Liquid Telecom is an established telecommunications company that provides millions of high quality, low priced minutes worldwide. Operating in 14 countries, they are one of the fastest growing independent operators globally.
What was the brief?
After a successful launch of the Liquid Telecom brand, Firedog was appointed to develop the Liquid Telecom website. The website needed to be white labeled and have functionality for promotions and price points without the need for external assistance. Due to the market nature of the client’s audience the site needed to be playful, friendly and approachable.
What was Firedog's solution?
The brand values were easily transferred onto the website, and the architecture and layout were completely transformed to ensure a balanced, easy to use e-commerce website. Firedog took great strides to create a retail tone, which was enhanced by refreshing the copy across the entire site. The strategy was to move away from the original wholesale focused website. The firedog studio created a memorable interface with a unique suite of droplet icons which were developed as a brand reinforcement across the user journey. Users are encouraged to engage with the playful brand, using the droplet device in everything from selecting packages to getting help from the liquid wizard.
Previously, customers had to call the Liquid Telecom call centre to purchase products. Firedog recommended that users could choose to either call or complete their transaction online. Therefore e-commerce functionality was integrated within the website. Firedog was able to understand Liquid Telecom's internal software and fully integrate the website to ensure a seamless transition from selection of a package or product through to delivery.
